Nitrile Rubber (B400NBR Rubber) is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile. NBR Sheet has good general resistance to oil along with good mechanical properties especially tensile strength, flexing, compression set and impermbility to gases. It has moderate aging properties and good adhesion to metal.
Application:
Nitrile rubber displays a good resistance to inorganic chemical products. It gives satisfactory resistance to general hydrocarbons. Some of the grades are also recommended for good grade application.
Due to its polar nature, we do not recommend it use with polar liquids like ketones, ethers and amines.
